Question:

I have a 1994 Honda Civic and my brakes system keep locking up how do i fix it ?

My two front brakes keep locking up and the brakes peddle keep getting hard what might be the problem ?

Answer:

The least expensive thing you can do is to make sure your brake calipers are well lubricated. Inspect them if you're not sure. A brake caliper with no lubrication tends to bind itself to the rotor because there is no free movement for it to retract due to the brake dust that has accumulated on the sliding caliper bolts and pins. Check your power brake booster check valve and all the vacuum lines leading to it. Hope this helps, jess.
The master cylinder piston isn't coming back far enough to allow the fluid to return into the reservoir. It's either sticking or the brake pedal is adjusted out to far. Under the dash, there is an adjustment. Shorten the rod and that should help. Another probability is the block that equalizes the pressure could be sticking. It's located under the hood in the brake lines. Master tech 40 yrs.
