Question:

I have a 2003 Chrylser Sebring. Recently I put the heater blower on some filter material came out of the vents?

I checked the manual and there is no reference to a filter being in the blower system to change out over time. Before I start tearing apart the blower does anyone have any useful information on how to gain access to this filter? Also is there a part number for a replacement filter that I could purchase from Chrylser?

Answer:

probably time to replace the backup batteries

Smoke detectors are required to be replaced every 5 years (maximum). The reason for this is that dust collects on the smoke sensor and deems them unusable/unreliable. Replace the smoke detectors. If you know one is older than the others, replace that one first. If not, replace all of them with new batteries.
