well the advantage of having a lowered car is mostly looks. the disadvantage is that you got to be very cautious on where and how you drive due to you getting bogged or leaving half of your car parts behind.
Take a butane lighter and hold it near the detector. Push down on the button but don't actually spark the lighter. Just let the butane flow out of it for a minute or two. If the detector goes off it is a carbon monoxide detector.
I brought this up in my information technology class and for the most part I think it is safe but what if someone steals your phone or something? I guess you run the same risk as having a regular key get stolen though other than someone physically taking your phone I dont see how you could possibly be at any other risks with something like this.
