Question:

Garage door opener problems/block off?

I have a automatic garage opener however i had the garage before i got it. Now the garage has the original lock on the door which most garages with the opener dosnt have. But people tend to lock the lock on the door and then try to open the garage this will jamb up the garage and bend it since it is trying to open with its locked. Is there any kit that i can put in that i can take off the lock?? thanks

Answer:

Tie rope to knob and car bumper. Blame everything on person that drives car next.
No, not always. Lightning can be cloud to ground, cloud to cloud, and within clouds. Over 80% of lightning strikes actually happen within the cloud or cloud to cloud. Lighting can alway hit trees, cars, buses, houses, and lots of other things even people. Hope I Helped, Me
The plate that covers the hole in the door (the one around the door knob) has two screws in it, Usually on the inside of the door. Remove the screws with a Phillips head screw driver and slide the knob out. Then on the part of the door that latches into the door jamb also has two screws on it remove those two screws and slide the lock part out. You should have a hole in the door. Try pushing the pin out. if you have all of the screws removed just push and the rest should come off. Sometimes if the door has been painted and the knob was not removed the face plate can stick. Also if any of the parts inside are bent you need to bend them back so they can slide out. I know this is not much help, but it is kind of hard to give you advice when you cannot see the door knob.
