I dont know what to do to make that small living room more interesting with beige sofa,white walls, light brown carpet , I think I shouldn;t have bought beige sofa, its making the room look dull, please help me with your suggestions
Yes, lots of pretty throw pillows will add color to the room. Just about any color you like. A nice lamp with a shade on it in one of the sofa pillow colors. A bowl of oranges on a table will add color. Orange accents would look good with the beige, white, and light brown carpet.
Definitely blue accents. Pillows, lampshades, throw blankets, curtains, even a vase of flowers! Good luck and have fun! :)
A beige sofa is a wise choice for the long run.You can always paint or change accessories far cheaper than buying a new sofa. Start with an area rug in your seating area - at least a 5x7. (Use a rug grip underneath that is made for a rug to carpet application) Once you find one you like, choose a color from that rug for a paint color. Then choose a second third color for your accessories - pillows, candles, wall decor, draperies, etc. Distribute these accent colors evenly within the room. Also add a metallic in the room for lamps, candle holders, wall decor frames.
