Question:

I have a few questions of my physics home work. I am in grade 7 please help me.?

Questions:#1. Bicycles often have rubber grips on the handle bars. Why would your hands get colder quicker without them?#2. Why do you think many good insulating materials have a low density?#3. Copper is more expensive than steel, but some of the best sauce pans have copper bottoms. Why do you think the manufacturers go to this expense?#4. Why do you think the double glazing windows works as well as an insulator?Um, the first answerer that has answered most nicely will be considered as the Best Answer and he/she will receive 20 points. This is urgent Okay?

Answer:

stay in your laneas you need to do when a car or truck passes you
well when i am usually passed by one, i usually stay in my lane and slowdown my speed. but be precautious since they pass by so quickly and very near to your car
For number 1, I think the answer is there's a change in kinetic energy/temperature.
1. rubber is an insulator, while metal is a conductor 2. its harder for energy to transfer from particle to particle if they're further apart as they are in a low density material 3. the specific heat of copper allows it to absorb, retain and release the energy more effectively 4. am assuming you meant double paned windows which do not allow heat transfer due to empty space between panes
