Question:

Can replacement glass be purchased for a fire extinguisher box?

I have a fire extinguisher box that is missing the breakable glass panel. I need to know if I can get replacement glass or do I need to buy a new box.

Answer:

What I would do is take the door panel off and put the window back in the track where it is supposed to be. After you get it back in there use a little bit of silicone spray lube on the track so it will slide up and down easier. Make sure the guides aren't bent because the window will come out again. Good luck.
If you fly within the USA and want to use a padlock on your luggage, or have a lock that is part of the case, it needs to be a TSA approved lock. It does not matter what kind of lock beyond that. When you fly outside the USA you may find that also TSA approved locks may be broken by security.
