Question:

How to stop a speeding neighbor (legally)?

I have a neighbor who continues to speed up and down our road despite multiple encounters and asking them to slow down. We have posted slow child ahead signs, and they ignore everything. Last month it escalated to a new level, we confronted our neighbor on our road and asked him to please slow down because he is creating a lot of dust (it is a gravel road, probably 100 yards long) and it is unnecessary to be going that fast. The neighbor gave us the finger and peeled out, throwing gravel everywhere. Multiple of our surrounding neighbors witnessed the incident and couldn't believe what they had witnessed. What are my choices here? I am contemplating installing speed bumps. Is there any way to get the law involved?

Answer:

the best way to do it is to go up to her and simply give her a compliment. right after that, you just walk away. dont say anything else. she might see that you wanted to give her a compliment instead of asking her out. she will feel bad and might ask you out
with a fire hose? hahaha - just kidding be yourself. You don't seem to have any issues and even if you weren't so good looking or witty you could still pull it off because you are a decent human being. Smile at them, hold the door, pick up what they drop, say hi, in short - BE A GENTLEMAN! Girls fall for that stuff all the time. You'll blow the rest of the jerks out of the water honey - because whether or not you get the girl, they will always remember what a sweet polite guy you are and eventually a really nice polite girl with a head on her shoulders will either be waiting for you to ask her out, or she will ask you out herself. Be patient - life doesn't happen overnight! Merry Christmas!
jus be ur self and when she looks at you stop and say hi,how r u doing
Change the battery it might be bad. But by my knowledge it maybe cheaper to replace the entire unit
By being hot yourself. The hot you are referring to is just looks, the hot I'm referring to is confidence. Walk up to them wanting to introduce yourself, but not overwhelmed by their appearance. They dress like that for their friends. They want the guys to be attracted to their person. Look into their eyes. Not only will you see how genuine they are being, but they know where you're looking . . . don't let it be body parts. Just remember to be yourself and have confidence. If they don't soften up to you right away, just write it off. It may be peer pressure, a mood, or just not the right time. Don't be fixated on one girl. It's unattractive to the others. You don't really know any of them untill you have become their friend. One day you will meet a hottie at the right time and right place, are you ready for that?
