I have the software MobilMb and a data cable what shall I do to make the pC see the mobile through a serial port?
What is the error? Searching for new hardware windows appears? IF it's searching for hardware, let it search and when asked you for the location of driver, point it the location of your CD drive e.g. E: or one of it's folder e.g. E:drivers, and should be able to install the driver. IF this didn't work, remove the installed program from Add, Remove Program in Control Panel, and reboot your system, and connect the camera, when asks for the location of driver, point it your CD drive.
The cable shld have one end connected to the hp n the other end connect to the usb port on ur pc.If ur OS is window 2000 n above,the com shld be able to auto detect the hardware.If not,u have to go control panel,add new hardware
It's really difficult to find cables that make phones compatible to computers. It would be best for you to buy an original Nokia cable, one that connects to a USB port and not a serial port.
maybe your pc cant read it your new software.
