If your going the speed of light how long would it take to go a light year? I mean would it be 365 days going the speed of light or what, thanks all answers are appreciated!
I see your want to fly to a star very much. For it one need know the physics and mathematics.
Light travels at 300000000 m/s. A light year is how far light travels in 1 year. A year consists of 365*24*60*60=31536000 seconds. Multiply the two numbers together, and you get 9460800000000000 meters travelled by light in a year.
A light year is the distance traveled by light in a year, so yes it would be 365 days.
