Question:

grade 8 science project?

I have to make a crane that will lift 2 kilograms of the ground and move it 1 meter using either syringes and/or hydrolics and/or levers?

Answer:

Normally, it would sound crazy if you are using big fat size 35s (lol) but since you a using super skinny size 2s, it sounds fineI normally knit with size 6s and 10sI usually don't care about the gauge but if want the alternate it, use a different yarn.
10 stitches per inch sound rightCheck your heavier socks if you have any and compare the stitchesOr if the socks are fine, check the stitches per inch and you will see there are many more and the thread is very small.
generally 2 stitches per inch
YesIt seems right for a medium-fine pair of socksFiner socks would have an even finer gageThe only socks I have that are knit with a coarser gage can only be worn with buckled sandals with the buckles loosened 2 notchesOne of the economies of hand-knitting socks is that you can get more hours of knitting pleasure for each dollar spent on yarnWith bulky yarn and large needles, the project may be finished in a flashWhat to do? There's purchase more yarn or, as last resort, frog a project for re-knittingI have needles down to size 00000 for doing lace and dollhouse miniatures with sewing thread.
lol i remember making this, i failed this project.i would reommend you make a plan before you start
