And my other drive has the only analog audio cable on my motherboard hooked up to it, and i know i need to plug in one more cable, because windows wont start up the way i set it up and idk what needs to go into which port.
You will not have set up the master and slave on the drives properly if they are both on the same cable. You need to take out the second drive and using the little jumpers set it to be a slave, then replace it and try again.
Are your drives IDE, SCSI or SATA? If they are IDE, are the jumpers set correctly for master/slave or cable select?
