Question:

Im 13 and have a hard enough time using my cellphone, and no its not high tec, its old, flip thingy. Its for science class and it has to be strong enough to crush a styrofoam ball. Any ideas or pics? HELP ME! I have to start form scratch! With *gulp* wood and nails and mechanisms

Answer:

no problem. buy a standard 8x8x16 cinder block, some heavy steel cable to securely tie the cinder block to, a pulley system and a hand crank. devise the pulley and crank system so that you can use the hand crank to pull up the 30 lb cinder block about a foot or two, then release and the cinder block falls and rushes things with it. It can't be any simpler. that technology's been around for the last 3000 years, surely you can build one.
