Question:

Does a home a/c unit use the same fittings as the old r-12 fittings in cars?

I'm asking because I want to try to use my R-12 manifold gauges to service my home a/c unit. Is there a normal static pressure for the home a/c? Thank you in advance to all who reply.

Answer:

Call the police. Call the rental office to alert them too. This cannot be allowed.
It probably wouldn't cause any extra wear, because the shocks are always moving independently of each other anyway, and it kind of evens out. But if you wanted to, you could drive over the bumps with the left wheels on one day the right wheels on the next!
Doesn't hurt them to do what you're doing.
