Technology hasnt gotten to this point yet When your at the airport however, you can pay for a connectionBut when your 30,000 feet in the air you have to turn your internet off completely for two reasons 1Its impossible2The internet can mess up the planes navigation systemSo try to read a book or somethingIm sorry :(
While it's both impractical and illegal to use cellular internet while on a plane, that might work (you just risk spending quality time with federal agents at the end of your flight)The only other option would be if your flight is still a while off, you might be able to get in-flight WiFiLufthansa Airlines introduced this back in 2006, but cancelled the program because their provider found it unprofitableThey are currently working to reintroduce it [1]Virgin America also offers in-flight WiFi [2], but I can't imagine you'd be on a 17 hour flight with them ;-)This is something we will probably see a lot more of in the future, but it's still an emerging technologySorry!
