I've decided to use a curtain. Turn it into a tube dress. I'm not cutting it because i would like to use it again. So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to hold it together.
It sounds like the first you pulled it, you did not pull it hard enough. There is a little piece of glass or plastic that prevents accidental activations. Sometimes you have to pull with a little umph. If you are ever in that unfortunate situation, make sure you pull it enough to where it stays down and you hear and/or see the alarm. As to why the alarm beeped twice, I am not sure. There are several styles of fire alarms and several brands. It could be a self test. You would have to contact the specific alarm company to find that out.
You can probably make it yourself by first designing a large wooden cast of the speed bump, but with the base left open, and then filling it with cement and flipping it over. Then you should break off some holes in the top and wait for about 2 days, then break off all the cast.
