I have a project to make a model of something out of junkI decided to make a spider out of a Quality Street chocolate box as the main bodySomeone already suggested that to stick straws as legsAny other ideas for what the legs could be made of?

Answer:

If you don't have pipe cleaners and want to use metal, you could twist together two wires (to make them stronger), or perhaps even use long twist ties of some kind Or use scrunched or twisted aluminum foil (put something else inside if you need the foil to end up a little stiffer)You could make them from anything though that's reasonably stiff (or anything you can make stiff): .rolled-up long strips of paper, perhaps with white glue or acrylic paint coated on the inside before rolling, or just afterward on the outside .twisted newspaper or other paper .wooden skewers, perhaps bent so partially broken at joints but reinforced there with tape .branches/twigs .foodlike carrots, celery, etcHTH, Diane B.
