How about pancakes, they are easy to make from scratch and are yummyWhen I was younger I watched my older brother make an everything pancake where he put chocolate chips, coconut, nuts, candies, and marshamallows in the batter and then put pb and syrup on top :) Pancake batter 1 egg 3/4 cup milk 2 tablespoons margarine , melted 1 cup flour 1 tablespoon sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions 1Beat egg until fluffy2Add milk and melted margarine3Add dry ingredients and mix well4Heat a heavy griddle or fry pan which is greased with a little butter on a paper towel5The pan is hot enough when a drop of water breaks into several smaller balls which 'dance' around the pan6Pour a small amount of batter (approx 1/4 cup) into pan and tip to spread out or spread with spoon7When bubbles appear on surface and begin to break, turn over and cook the other side.
I started with grilled cheese, eggs, pancakes, and the likeBreakfast is really easyMake Bisquik pancakes via the box directions, and scramble up a mess of eggsCrack about two per person into a dish, add a little water, and beat them with a fork until they're well mixedPour the eggs into a nonstick pan that's been sprayed with cooking spray, and add small pieces of cheese on topAmerican and Colby both melt up nicely; avoid using cheddar if you canPush the eggs around the pan with a spatula until they look almost done, then take them outThey'll finish cooking with the leftover heatServe up with the pancakes for a great brunch!

Mac and Cheese from a box would be a good startAlthough food in a box is not nutritious, you want to start there first because the manufacturers make things easy for the cookIf they didn't, people wouldn't buy the productYou can look at the back of the boxes for easy directionsSome items have only one simple step, others have two or three and some have moreStart with the ones that have one or two stepsOnce you have mastered those items, go on to something like rice crispy squaresIn a few months, you will be into recipesYou can get loads of cook books from your public library, but it is probably easier to read online recipesRemember to make things that only take a few steps and then get more complicated.
