I need help knitting this afghan, any suggestions?

Answer:

HmmYou might be able to put it in the oven to dry it a bitI'm not really sureI don't really care for animal blood myselfI'm not a huge fan of roast beef because of thisYou could try blotting the meat with paper towels before eating it, and change the bag that it came in to remove any extra blood.
It's not blood!!!! It's Myoglobin, Hemoglobin is bloodWhat it is is liquid in your tissue and muscles that holds oxygen for your muscles to workIf we didn't have Myoglobin in our tissue and muscles we would only be able to move in short little bursts when the oxygen reached our musclesSo, that liquid in the packages of meat at the butcher, at the delinone of it is blood! So, all it means is that your meat is freshIf it grosses you out that much, bring it back.
Roast beef is almost always bloody if you have it sliced at a deliTo avoid this then buy pre-packaged lunch meat with preservativesA simple fix is to microwave the meat for a very small amount of time to cook it so it isn't bloody.
not all lunch meat is pressed into squares or circles, it is cooked in it's natural form and is therefore, not required to be thoroughly cookedif you don't want to eat it this way, buy prepackaged, pressed meatsor you could possibly cook it in a skillet and have a hot sandwich
In all honesty you'd probably do fine with a nicer Lion Brand or Red Heart, or even babysoftI think they all even sell 1lb skeins, so you could get away under $20Just make sure you like the feelI can personally vouch for all of the above being a pliable, soft, warm yarn that holds up pretty well against the washing machine and dryer.
