Alright so, what I'd do first is, let her understand and promise not to say anything until you're done talking so that you two can have a fair discussionTwo; have a speech that you've written beforehand(Pretty much just write down your feelings, your reasoning, and basically why you think that this is the right choiceAlso, be sure to explain early on that you understand that she loves you and just wants what's best for you and basically doesn't want you to become that hobo living next to Wal-Mart or worse, a Wal-Mart greeter shudders)Explain to her all the things and let her reply unlit she's done, then hopefully you have some stuff to combat thatRinse and repeat! I don't know what your topic is, so I can't help you with that, but your English teacher should be able to give you some tips and instructions on how to write research papers.
