I need to make some macaroons?

I was asked to bring macaroons for my class, because my class is having a party for children from children's homeBut, I can't make the amount with almond or any nut flower, because that will cost too much, plus I can't find any almond flower here either.Do I have to add almond? Or are there any substitute? I don't want to make coconut macaroons eitherPlz help!

Throw them in your washing machine.
Almond Macaroons Ingredients 1/2 pound almond paste 1 cup white sugar 3 egg whites 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons cake flour 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons chopped blanched almonds Directions Cover cookie sheets with parchment or aluminum foil, shiny side up Soften almond paste with your hands or food processorIn large mixing bowl, blend almond paste and sugar Separate eggs and add whites to mixtureMix in confectioners' sugar, flour and saltStir well Force dough through a cookie press or drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheetsCover and let stand for 30 minutes Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C)Sprinkle cookies with chopped almonds and bake for 25 minutesRemove parchment or foil from cookie sheets and let coolPeel off macaroons.
