i got an envelope on the windshiled :( it says that need to go to court or do defensive school.what should i do? go to court or do school? i dont want to pay anything or get points against me. please help :(
Let your dentist know you are scared, though they'll probably not be surprised as most patients aren't their biggest fans. You might not even have a cavity. However, if you let your dentist know exactly what you're frightened of, they can do lots of things. Start with easy things in your mouth, like them brushing your teeth, putting a mirror in then a probe (pointer) etc until you are comfortable with a hand piece in your mouth. You can also request a dental dam, which is a big rubber sheet that they put over your mouth with only the tooth they are working on showing through. This stops anything getting lost or swallowed. It won't get stuck as its often held in place with floss or little clasps. Your dentist should also let you know that you can raise a hand they designate if you want everything to stop and get out of your mouth. I promise it will be nowhere near as bad as you think. there are specialist dentists for really scared or problematic patients you can go see one if you really want anyway they aren't how they are depicted in books they are fine! I have lived with one for 13 and a half years!!!! DON'T BE SCARED THEY WANT WHATS BEST FOR YOU MOST OF THEM ARE LOVELY! ;)
