Question:

How do I make fabric more Durable?

I play goalie (for in-line hockey), and the insides of my pads are getting beat up, so far I have been able to repair them by stitching up the holes, however, that will only last for so longIs there any sort of coating I can put on the nylon to make it more durable? I'm trying to think outside the box here to products that may not be intended for that purpose, but could work for it (such as concrete sealant or spray on bed liners for trucks)? The inside of the pads are made of Nylon, the fronts are made of synthetic leather (which is fine for the most part)

Answer:

You need more than insulation for sureSun is warming top floor so much there is no way it can cool.
Also consider the fact that hot air rises and will flow to the higher section of the houseIf your main ac vents are in the lower section (those closest to the unit) this is adding to the air flow and pushing the warmer air to the upper level of the houseYou might want to consider closing or partly closing some of the vents in the lower section of the house which will force more cool air to the upper vents or buying a window unit for the upper section to help keep it cooler.
might a sunshade made from one hundred% gentle green viscose fade in sunshine very quickly and lose that captivating colour as new? What approximately toughness if it may be left in rain and get moist! might it shrink? thank you lots!
