Question:

I really need help with magnetic field in physics?

A. How fast would a 5.80 cm copper bar have to move at right angles to a 0.635 T magnetic field to generate 1.50 V (the same as a AA battery) across its ends? B, Express your answer in part A in MPH .

Answer:

lets take a stab at it We know that some kind of induced E will appear in the rod we know the rods length is 5.8 cm so thats 0.058 m we know V -Ed so solving for E E -V/d -1.5/0.058 -25.86 V/m so thats the field we need induced by 0.635 T thats the start I cant remember which law to use to calculate E generated from a bar moving in magnetic field sorry That may help you a bit good luck
d[A.B]/dt1.5 1.5Bd[A]/dtBldx/dtBlv0.635 *580*10^[-4]*V find V
