Question:

i think i need a heater core for my 1991 Chevy S-10 where is it?

i think my heater core has a small leak in it the windows won‘t stop fogging up when i put the heat on but i am going to try some bar‘s stop leak copper and see if that would stop it but just in case i need to replace the heater core i want to know where it is 1991 Chevy S-10 4.3 2 wheel drive regular cab

Answer:

It is located behind the passenger side of the dashboard and is not a terribly easy job. Unless you are a pretty accomplished mechanic, I'd have it done somewhere. Avoid using any stop leak in your car. It clogs up your radiator and heater core.
Heater cores are generally located under the passenger side of the dashboard.
