Question:

will the dishwasher damage a pan coated with stainless steal, but with aluminum at its core?

I've read that the heat and chemicals in dishwasher detergent will damage aluminum, and cause it to come off in your foodWhat do you know about stainless lined cookware? Also, I recently bought a stainless lined pan, and was hand washing it before using it a first time when I noticed a metal color coming off onto my clothI continued to try and get it off, but it seems to come off hardI don't want to eat metalCan you give me any advice? Thanks.

Answer:

There is no official standard for super bulkyIt can be any thickness the spinner choosesIf not using the same yarn as the pattern always knit a tension swatch.
Make it out of pink paperThat's easier and quicker.
Maybe it would be easier to sew one with fleece.
It's fineThe aluminum is way inside the stainless steel, so the dishwasher detergent cannot touch the aluminum and react with itThe aluminum cookware you should not put in a dishwasher is aluminum stuff that's plain aluminumThe stuff coming off when a pan is new is totally normalIt will be tiny particles of metal dust, of plain dust, maybe a little oilDish soap and very hot water will do remove it, and wipe it with a paper towel to dry it after.
