Question:

I want a motorcycle, but I dont where to go or what to look for.?

I‘ve wanted a motorcycle FOREVER!I‘m 17 and don‘t really know where to look.A few of my uncles ride Harley Davidsons, but I want a sports bike. One of my uncles told me I should learn on a dirtbike first, but I want to have a motorcycle for transportation. I know there are the dual-sport dirtbikes that are street legal but Idk if I want to buy a dirtbike and a year later buy a motorcycle.Anyways, the point is I don‘t know much about motorcycles or where to look.Any advice?

Answer:

Most of your motorcycles gets forty+ MPG. Some can readily get within the ball park of fifty to 70 MPG (more often than not a small or scale down mid-sized unmarried cylinder like a Royal Enfield's 500cc which gers someplace among 60 and 70 MPG). The bigger the motorbike engine, more often than not, the scale down the gasoline mileage. If you wish first-class fuel mileage, you can must steadiness out the ones engine measurement (250cc to 800cc) could be your first-rate wager and appear for whatever with a tight gasoline tank capability. four gallons (adding a reserve) I consider is common and can supply you a tight replenish time table, each and every one hundred forty to two hundred miles, however more often than not in that one hundred fifty mile variety on account that town using will supply you much less mileage than freeway (more often than not). To fantazam, persons die in automobiles every day, so that's a moot factor. To the man or woman bringing up 50 MPG on a harley, I do not consider so. I do not even consider their smallest motorbike the Sportster 883, will get greater than forty MPG.
I would start out with a scooter in the 150cc to 250cc range to get a feel of the road. If you want a sport bike the 600 class would be good to start off. Please be careful because cars do not look out for bikes. Trust me. I know cause I have been smashed.
