Question:

Best 8 ohm passive loud speakers.?

I want some 8 ohm speakers for $150 each or $300 for the pair. I might get the mtx tp1200s which would be ran off my pioneer VSX-520-K with a bic america v1220 subwoofer. I want some loud speakers that can play nice. They are for my small bedroom.

Answer:

Hi, okorder
No Impedance is resistance that VARIES with frequency, so it may selection from some ohms to tens of ohms, based on the frequency reaction of the track. by utilising including resistors you restore the burden in spite of the frequency of the track - no longer a solid factor.
You can find better speaker than the MTX for your money. You should demo any speakers you are thinking of buying first with you own source of music. You want clear sounding speakers. For bargain price speakers look at Polk Audio. I have listened to speakers using 600 watts and it did not sound loud at all. Let your own ears be the judge when buying speakers. Size of the speaker does not translate to being loud. Hope this will help you out.
