Question:

I want to build a cold air intake?

i want to build a cold air intake and the parts at autozone. what parts do i need to build it. example. air filter . what else do i need

Answer:

the air filter and the tube. thats all, but you may consider not switching to that because it wont actually be colder air going into your intake, since your current system (most systems) draw ouside air through the filter and into the intake it is colder. Since the system you are talking about draws air from the engine compartment it would be hot air. So unless you are buying a true cold air intake system (one that uses a freon cooling system. I would suggest for your gas mileage and your horsepower sticking with what you got.
their really isnt anything to building it, just go buy it. building is only air filter and the pipe, attach it to the throttle body.
