Question:

I want to paint bathroom vanities and replace the tiles and replace the bathtub?

but, not all the same time b/c I can‘t afford it. which project should be done first? a friend told me it is better to replace the tiles first because the dust is not good for paint.paint vanities orreplace tiles orreplace the bathtub?

Answer:

i would probably paint first, that way if you spill paint it doesnt ruin the new tile? or replace the tub and tile first then lay something over the entire floor before you paint and do the rest? hmmm sorry im of no help thats a tough one lol
Let's think logically for a moment. If you tile first, then when you go to change the tub, the new tub may be a different shape and then you are stuck replacing tiles and risk a bad patch job. Replace the tub first, pulling up the existing floor covering that currently goes up to the tub as not to trap it down which would interfere with he new tile later on. Paint second and tile last.
tile goes up to the tub so ide do the tub first so u dont have to mess up the edge's on your new tile
I think when we did our basement bathroom, we did paint, then tub, then tile. Painting your vanity will be least expensive. I would start there.
