Question:

I was fired from my first job earlier in the year?

Will this stick out like a sore thumb to job recruiters?I didn't specify that I was fired (of course), but how often do recruiters actually contact the previous place of employment?I decided to use my referees from high school (it has been almost two years since I graduated high school). Will that be noticeable?By how much do cover letters improve your prospects of employment?Lastly, an unimportant question but a question nonetheless, what sort of casual/part time/temp jobs suit people who aren't very social/unable to adapt to different social situations? There are alot of questions.. to anyone who considers answering them all - I salute you.

Answer:

What exactly does a fire extinguisher technician do? At least in CA, it's the local fire marshalls who inspect the fire extinguishers, and if they need servicing or refilling, they're sent back to the manufacturer. There is no 3rd party company who does this. Working as a worker at a factory normally doesn't pay that well. Even if there's a union in place, you're looking at maybe $15/hr.
yea, do that what john mentioned, but also if that does not work, depending on what type of faucet you have, some faucets have a vacuum breaker installed if you have a pull out sprayer and maybe it is clogged or while the fire dept. is flushing hydrants the vacuum breaker in your faucet is working properly good luck ;-)
