You can shrink it gently by washing it in warm water (not hot) and air drying it to the right size on something that is the correct diameter, such as a wig stand, oatmeal canister or any bowl you have that measures the same as your headThe warm water should cause some shrinkage, but the form will keep it from getting any smaller.
