Question:

I wore contacts in my laboratory, am I still okay?

Hello,The lab that I work at doesn't require us to wear safety goggles. You are not allowed to wear contacts, and I'm sure most labs have that too. I drove directly to work from an important meeting (that is why I was wearing contacts), but I am a Bio-Tech. I mostly handle DNA extractions involving corn and plants. And I also calibrate pH meters using pH 4.0 and 7.0 Are any of these infectious to my eyes?Thank you!

Answer:

The steel or aluminum for cans comes in a few standard thicknesses. The cans come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes with different types of seams. In worst case scenario, the crusher may fail to crush several cans simultaneously. You want that to happen very rarely, so the crusher should apply about 500 kilograms 1100 pounds pressure to the cans. Neil
