Question:

I work as a dishwasher at a restaurant, our manager is having us wear trash bags, is this legal?

They normally give us disposable aprons, but they ran out and now everyone is wearing black garbage bags with holes torn out for the arms and head, is this legal? Isn't there some kind of unfair work practices law or something that can prevent this? Were also working with really hot water and don't provide us with any sort of safety gloves so a lot of the employees have been getting rashes and burns, is there some sort of law to stop them from doing this? And a few time's we've run out of soap and other chemicals and just been told to use hot water only, because the temperature is what sterilizes the dishes. I know it's an awful job and I would quit, but right now I'm financially stuck and I have to make this job work for at least another month or two. I'd also like to make them suffer as they have made me suffer.

Answer:

yes you will be also you can be expelled from school also you could be charged by the fire department for the call
You betcha, and if someone is injured because of it, you would be liable for their medical bills and pain and suffering.
Yes. and most have hidden cameras. Prank at your own risk
Of course you can. Not only that, how would you feel if people panicked and ran and someone was trampled and hurt or killed. You'd feel like an idiot. Which is what you would be. You'd also be sued and/or arrested.
Some police officers do not drive with enough regard for everyone around them. We have some of those officers in my department. I on the other hand drive with Due Regard this is what the state has deemed the appropriate amount of regard that I must drive with. Now, I am not going to drive the same speed it if is night that I would during the day. If its snowing, I will get there as safely as possible. I do not believe that police are driving to fast, I just think that we (as officers, fire fighters, and EMS) need to slow down, because we are not going to do any good if we can't get to the scene to help someone.
