I would like to freeze some of my corn right on the cob can i blanch it in the microwave?

If not how do I do it in boiling water, I'm open to new idea's as well

As far as I know, the only one of these things on it's own that lowers blood pressure is low sodiumEven then this is only of benefit if the problem was due to high sodium in the diet to start withI think the the high fibre and low fat just claim a bit of the credit from the low sodium aspectAs for the actual mechanisms, I'm not too sureI suppose it's possible that low sodium means low salt and commercial salt is bleached and has aluminium added to itIt could be speculated that the removal of such a processed substance from the diet has some benefitTry searching using Google Scholar.
You don't have to blanch it to freeze on the cob Husk and silk corn, roll in aluminum foilPlace wrapped corn in Ziploc freezer bags and freeze I usually do two ears per one piece of foil - wrap from both endsWhen you are ready to use, bring a pot of water to boil, then unwrap corn from foil, place in boiling water and boil 5-10 minutesTastes like freshDo not microwave the frozen corn, it is not as good We have preserved corn on the cob like this for 18 years and every person that has eaten it is amazed at how fresh it tastes.
