Question:

Ideas for an easy gluten free packed lunch?

It's so annoying to try and find something gluten, dairy, and egg free in between classesI usually end up driving ten miles home to make myself something! It seems logical that restaurants can't usually be trusted to be gluten free, and the commons don't have much of a selection.I'm thinking something easy like a phj, but I hate most gluten free breadAny ideas? Thanks.

Answer:

Sounds like a job for Bumps on a Log to meIt's an old kids' camp-style food that really is useful for grown-ups, too Wash a celery stalk and cut it into 4 or 5 sections, but don't slit it up the middleSpread your peanutbutter in the groove of the celery sectionsDot with raisinsTo make it portable, stop before adding the raisinsPut two sections together, pb sides facingWrap with plastic wrap or aluminum foilPut that in a zip-top bagPut some raisins in another small zip-top bagWhen you get to snack time, pull the two stalk sections apart and add the raisinsChow downIt's nicest a little chilled, but does not need to be refrigerated for food safety.
Safe, never have any problems using a sprinkle, never too muchBaking Soda and then mild Soap of some kindI was told to use toothpaste, and a soft old toothbrush, and the commercial cleaners out there do a great job as wellCoca cola is what you are referring to in your notesand no, that will eat off what might be glued, stuck, or grime on it, but not the best solution for it.
I have always and will always use baking soda to clean my silver , but I do not do it as you have found , I just make a thick paste of baking soda and water and I out my silver into the mixture and leave it for depending on how tarnished it is 15 - 30 minutes , and then i take a toothbrush that is soft and dip it into the paste and clean it with that , and I have always had wonderful results and never any problems at all.
Clean Silver Baking Soda
I've heard of something similar but I'm not sureIf it's a nice piece of silver that you have I would not risk it, I use silver cloth to polish it every once in a while and that works great it comes up shiny and new I have Tiffany bracelet that I love so i don't think I would want to mess with it by trying to clean in from some remedy I got off the Internet, unless you don't mind taking the risk.
