if i had bed bugs would they almost definitely be obvious if i searched the bed?
Bed bugs are a terrible present.
No, they normally hide in the mattress crease or cracks of the headboard, so you may not be able to find them. have you been bitten? take a look at the site below and see if yours looks similar to it. If so, I would recommend you using BedBugPowder on the site. It worked on our bed and is very easy to use. Spread it on the mattress once a week for a few times, then you will never be bitten by bed bugs.

Do you have bite marks? The best way to find out is to look for they poop and old skin. It can be found in the corners of your mattress. At night, turn the light on and rip off the cover quickly to actually see them. That would be the most obvious way of finding them.
