Question:

If sound doesn't travel in a vacuum, Why are vacuum cleaners always so noisy?

nan

Answer:

I guess because u dont hear the sound IN the cleaner, U hear the sound generated in the OUTSIDE of the cleaner, thats what we hear
because they don't turn your entire house into a vacuum. if a vacuum cleaner managed to suck up all of the oxygen and other gases in the world, then it wouldnt make any noise, and you'd be dead for asking such a silly question.
Ahhh, but is it noisy inside of the vacuum cleaner!
Yes, sound does not travel IN a vacuum, but outside of the vacuum it is very noisy, since sound travels very well there. If you were able to get inside of the vacuum (cleaner), then it would be very quiet.
because it sweeps the silence inside it and whistles out its own tune ....
