.I had the same issue from a different company . When I bought the rubber foam thing, the store told me the smell would dissipate after a few days - and it did. Hopefully you will have the same experience
A really bad joke - three girls were running from the cops. They run into a barn, and the three of them are cornered by the officers. The first girl decides to distract them and shouts, Tornado! and runs off as they look for the tornado . The second follows suit by shouting, Earthquake! and gets away. The officers aim at the last girl. She thinks for a moment and finally shouts, Fire! and the officers open fire. My cousin told me this joke when we were little, and when someone shouts, Fire!, it just comes to mind.
Here in the U.K. when someone shouts FIRE most people will assume that it is a warning that fire has broken out somewhere in the vicinity of the person who shouted that word. It is a word which should never be shouted as a joke.
