Question:

if you crochet loosely, does it make blankets not so stiff & makes them soft?

its hard to describe what i'm trying to ask but i'm in the middle of crocheting a blanket for my son since i'm stitching kind of tight it's making everything really stiff i don't know if that would be comfortable for himi'm wondering if i should start over stitch loosely so it won't be so rigid or should i just continue what i'm doing just wash the blanket to try to soften it up?

Answer:

Diamond is the best conductor of heat, even better than copper However, you want a reflector, not a conductor Or are you asking about the vessel to hold the water to be boiled ? For that you want something blackBlack aluminum probably best, or black copperTo blacken, put over a sooty flameOr use spray paint.
It's not a matter of heat conduction You are simply concentrating the suns rays on a small spot Any reflector a bowl or the right shape of foil will do it.
