i know that you can get cancer from heating up plastic, like in a microwave, but can you get it from freezing plastic, like in a freezer. ????

No. And plastics recommended for microwave use don't cause cancer, either. Burning plastic is bad, though. Don't breathe the fumes.

You should know one more thing that heating plastic in micro ovens is very dangerous otherwise also.
