Question:

If you went into hospital for an operation, would they tell you if they found anything 'else' wrong with you?

For instance, say you had what a leg op, and needed to take/give blood to you, would they test you for sti's etc and tell you if they found you had anything..serious?

In Newton's Gravity, gravity acts instantly over a distanceso according to Newton, if the Sun were to disappear then the Earth would fly off immediately. In Einstien's Gravity, gravitational influence acts at the speed of light.so according to Einstein, if the Sun were to disappear, then the Earth wouldn't change its motion until about 8 minutes later. In Newton's Gravity, objects give off something called a gravitational field that reaches out across empty space and pulls on other all other objects. In Einstein's Gravity, objects bend spacetime. The curved spacetime around objects causes them to move together kind of like bowling balls on a rubber sheet. To Newton, space and time were separate absolute things. (meaning that all observers agree on how far apart events are and on what time they occured) To Einstein they were similar relative things. (meaning that two different observers don't always agree on how far apart two events were in space and on how close together they were in time)
