Hi Before the switch make sure it has nice pink transmission fluid. Then go for it.
1200 to drop the front end out, pull the engine, I hope replace front seal in trans and the rear seal in the engine, labor, fluids, if its a stick shift did that include a new clutch and clutch plate?prepare to go over budget. 700 for the trans, 400 to drop the front end, another 300 to pull the engine, fluids, labor, 1800 would get that done for you in usd. you could have another car or a big down payment for a really awesome car that u dont have to work on. do u really know the mechanic that well? your choice your money.
I got a tranny from the junk yard for $130 and paid a buddy $50 bucks to help me swap them. It's been working fine for the last 2 years. There's no way I'd spend $1200 on a transmission but I do my own work so I don't have to. I plan to get one for my Geo Metro and put it in for under $200. A used tranny is cheaper than a new car by far.
A substrate consisting of brown rice flour, vermiculite, and water that will feed and supply water to our magic mushrooms is sealed in ? pint jars and sterilized in a pressure cooker, or boiling water. This is to kill anything that might endanger the mushrooms.
