Question:

Im putting in a new bathroom, what would be best on a well? CPVC, PEX, or Copper piping. Plumbing?

Our water pressure is low, so we are re-piping from the pressure tank. Currently it‘s galvanized.so, after pulling all that out we want to know what the best choice for replacing it would be and what the pros and cons of each type are. Any help is appreciated.

Answer:

PEX is the best, but closely compares to CPVC, to save money use standard PVC on the cold water lines and CPVC on hot water lines only. PEX needs special glue, joints and tools to put it together. Personally I would just use PVC on cold water lines and CPVC on hot water lines if it were me redoing the plumbing.
