Question:

In carpentry how do you call a round and a square profile that is not empty?

I mean, an iron round profile and an iron square profile are round/square shaped but they have nothing inside. You can fill it with a different material, and you have a whatever filled profile. But if the profile is solid, all iron?Is that solid round profile and solid square profile?

Answer:

FFS how many accounts have you got FFS? and to answer your question 1) it depends on the size of the peg 2) it depends on the size of the hole 3) if you've got a square dick see a doctor. Alrighty big man, i'm back from my holidays, Sam and I are living together now and we are both happy as can be. We have a kitten called gizmo and our Flat is looking fairly complete. Hope everything has been good while I was away, I can see how much you missed me, lol. Speak to you soon.
It really depends on what tool you're talking about. If you're talking about hand files, then usually they're just referred to as round or square profile. Most assume that files would be solid as opposed to being hollow. Actually, a hollow file probably wouldn't last too long, and I doubt too many manufactures would attempt to make these type of files. I'm not sure I understand your comment about iron round or square profile that has nothing inside. If there are such tools, and they could either be solid or hollow, I imagine it would be correct to identify them as either hollow or solid. Also solid, pure iron as opposed to solid, mixed material core, encased with iron would be appropriate terminology. However, there's a condition that erodes two metals when they touch each other, so the core material would have to be some kind of hybrid resin or other non-metallic material.
