In Nevada, is the Tenant or Landlord responsible for changing smoke detector batteries?

And does this answer go for every state? My understanding is that the tenant is responsible for this in any state until the term of the lease that it is so even if it's not spelled out in the lease contract?My tenant is complaining about a beeping alarm annoying disrupting her sleep! Umm, isn't it designed to annoy you as a way to notify you that it needs to be changed! I changed it when they moved in about 6 months ago. Aren't you supposed to change it twice a year?
