Question:

Indoor garden?

I live in an apartment without a patio but I have two E/W facing windows, so I pretty much always have some sunlight. Are there any relatively small plants(herbs, maybe?) that can be grown indoors, in a small planter, and without a whole lot of light? Also, having a planter that hangs out of a window isn't an option because there is a brick quot;lipquot; right outside both windows.

Answer:

most herbs will grow in a winow garden. If you check out the home and garden section of most stores they even sell small kits compleate with pots, seeds and soil. Ivy will grow inside well as well as poka dot plant a neat little plant with pink dots on the leaves. Some kinds of Hosta stay small and it thrives in partial sun.
