Question:

Industrial/scaffolding' piercing advice?

I have my ear pierced at the top, do you think that in the piercing shop, they would be able to transform this into an Industrial/Scaffolding piercing just py piercing the other side?

Answer:

More than likely not. Industrial piercings have to be done at a perfect angle so they aren't too shallow. A shallow industrial can lead to rejection and other fun problems. Your piercing probably isn't angled properly to fit with an industrial piercing if it was just pierced as a regular helix piercing.
This all depends on the angle it was originally pierced as well as the piercer. Before I got mine done I asked a piercer and he said no but when I went to do it my piercer said it was possible. If you do though, you will have to stretch it one size up. I had but that doesn't really hurt, I didn't even feel him stretch it. If I were you I would ask a few different piercers and get different opinions
Yes it's possible. It may not be exactly across, if that matters to you. As they will likely have to line it up with the hole already there.
