i am trying to find out how much it will cost about to put carpet in an average size room approx13 by 17. i just want middle of the roead carpet, but does anyone have a guess?
I just went carpet shopping today and found that for two rooms that measure approx. 26ftx 16ft that it will cost almost $900. I even removed all of the old carpet and padding myself. It ain't real cheap!
We recently did 2 rooms approximately 10x13 each We bought the padding at Lowe's and the carpet at Home Depot, it is very nice. Like a Berber. Cost a little over 300 dollars. Had someone lay it for us, that cost 50 dollars. Good Luck!!!!
