I just bought a second hand two seater white leather sofa, modern design with stainless steel legs. I don’t have a theme to my living room yet, but i like modern clean cut not too fussy style but a bit warm as well.What would you suggest for the rest of the furniture in the room be like in colour : two chairs, coffee table and TV stand. I have white walls for now, but open to something different – all suggestions are welcome
Go to the shoe section in any store and buy something called Saddle Soap. It looks like a shoe polish but it lathers up and cleans the leather without drying it up...it actually puts moisture into it. Then wipe something called Mink Oil on it and u will keep it clean and soft with out spending money on expensive leather cleaners that don't work. All together these should cost you about 5 bucks.
The white sofa can really be a stand out in your room. I would trim in white and color the walls but wait until you have found your furniture and then color your walls to what you need. Pick your colors to make you look good. I watched . . .can't think of the name. . .but the TV show with the four women on Histeria Lane (LOL) and Brie is the redhead and her house is decorated to just make her colors pop. Even her car made her eyes just stand out. That's how you decorate and choose colors. You want someone to walk in the room and say how great you look. . .Good luck with it all. Just don't get in a hurry and find something you really like.
